 ABOUT TAMARA

Counseling

Education is very important to me. It has been a life long pursuit. I have always loved the field of psychology and had a special interest in learning why people do the things that they do in their lives. I attended Brigham Young University where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in General Studies/Psychology. With my two sons off to college, I enrolled in the counseling fiprogram at Texas Women's University and received my Master's Degree. I have gone on to arm myself with skills and knowledge to help myself be the best counselor I can be and to help my clients grow and change. I continued my educational search and received my doctoral degree through Texas A&M Commerce. I am a wife and the mother of two adult sons and a grandmother of to six beautiful grandchildren. I love gardening, reading and playing with my therapy dogs, Chloe and Mia.
